Hello everyone, my name is Celia He and I’m an intern journalist at Manningham Life. I come from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China, and I am currently pursuing a Master of International Journalism at the University of Melbourne.

Previously, I worked as a trainee journalist in both TV stations and news organizations in China, and more recently as a Media Producer in the marketing department of a Singapore-based company. These experiences have provided me with solid skills in news writing, media production, and event planning.

Through study and practice, I’ve come to better understand the value of journalism. I enjoy communicating with people, listening to their stories, and paying attention to the needs of the audience — because I believe journalism should serve people and the community.

It’s truly an honour to join Manningham Life this semester. I look forward to working with Stella and the team, gaining more experience, and contributing objective, meaningful, and high-quality stories for our readers.

Hi, I’m Shuyan Jiang, an intern reporter at Manningham Life. I’m currently completing a Master of International Journalism at the University of Melbourne.

Before coming to Australia, I worked in both traditional and digital media in China, where I developed skills in storytelling, creativity, and collaboration. Since moving here, I’ve become particularly interested in visual storytelling and in uncovering the everyday stories of people around me. I believe small, personal stories often reflect broader social changes—whether in culture, community life, or the environment.

It’s an honour to join Manningham Life and to have the chance to share local stories with a wider audience. I look forward to learning from the team and creating meaningful work together.
