Manningham Art Gallery – Before Words There Were Rainbows

The session will include practical demonstrations, helpful tips on what to look for when choosing cleaning products, and a list of questions you can use to guide future decisions. You’ll also hear about local businesses offering low-waste, eco-conscious cleaning alternatives.

Manningham PSA Neighbourhood Policing Forum

Victoria Police invites community members and local businesses to attend the Manningham PSA Neighbourhood Policing Forum on 11 March 2026. This forum provides an opportunity to speak directly with local police about issues that matter to the community. Topics to be discussed include current crime trends and prevention, family violence, issues affecting young people, drugs and drug-related crime, and road policing.

Safe Plate Day

Neighbourhood Watch, together with Victoria Police, is offering free installation of theft-resistant one-way screws for your car’s number plates. Stolen plates are often used in crimes such as petrol theft, but fitting one-way screws can help reduce the risk. The installation only takes a few minutes and will be carried out by Neighbourhood Watch volunteers.

Manningham Nature Walks – Mount Lofty Sunset Walk 

Join a scenic 5km bushwalk through native bushland, crossing creeks and following the Birrarung (Yarra River) before climbing to the summit of Mount Lofty. At the top, enjoy sweeping sunset views across the Great Dividing Range and Warrandyte Gorge.

Notes: Bring hat, sunscreen, water bottle and snack. Wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Walk will be cancelled in the event of a Total Fire Ban or extreme weather.

Harmony with Your Neighbours – Community BBQ

Come along to a free community BBQ hosted by the Manningham Interfaith Network at Ruffey Lake Park. Enjoy a sausage sizzle, meet neighbours and chat with local community leaders. Information stalls, flyers and show bags will also be available. A friendly, family-friendly afternoon in the park.
