On Saturday night, 11 May, Victorians were treated to a truly spectacular natural light show — the Aurora Australis. It was a rare occurence — the product of an extreme geomagnetic solar storm. While many Victorians flocked to the beaches, the southern lights could be seen right here in our backyards in Manningham.
