Police have reported that three offenders forced entry into a home on Harvest Court in Doncaster on the morning of May 11, with one allegedly brandishing a machete.
At approximately 4:45am, the three offenders allegedly entered the home and attempted to force entry into a bedroom. A female resident, who was asleep in the room at the time, woke to the noise and activated an alarm, causing the three offenders to flee the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and believe the offenders may have targeted the wrong person and the wrong address.
