An 87-year-old woman has died after being struck by a rubbish truck in Doncaster East on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Hamilton Crescent shortly after 2pm, where they found the woman with critical injuries.
Paramedics worked to save her at the scene, but she was unable to be revived.
It is understood the truck driver may not have been aware the collision had occurred. The driver is now assisting police with their investigation.
